This course analyzes splinter groups in America that have the potential to disrupt our way of life and cause significant harm. Groups as:
PETA
Skinheads
Neo-Nazis
Bike Gangs
Prison Gangs
Militias
And others will be discussed, looking at their organization, their methods and their threat to the citizens of the United States.
WORKPLACE VIOLENCE: Recognition and Intervention
Addressing the basic problems of Workplace Violence this program will look at causes, effects and results. Ideas will be presented along with methodology to prevent these acts of violence and develop a plan to handle incidents that occur. This is an interactive course with student participation and self-reviews.
Domestic Abuse and Stalking
An in-depth study of the problems and dynamics of various stalking patterns. Stalker personalities and motives will be addressed. Pre-incident intervention techniques will be discussed and students will become familiar with current thoughts and research on reducing violent stalking incidents.
